What sort of projects are you working on?

“Working for an architecture firm is a great experience, my knowledge of both interiors and architecture grows everyday. My role as a Designer at BN Group encapsulates all facets of design including graphics, signage, facade design and of course interior design. We work on a large range of projects from shopping centres, food courts and amenities to interior fit outs and design reviews.

Why do you love being an Interior Designer?

“I love being a Designer because I have always loved being creative and interior design is the perfect way to share this with everyone. Working in the creative community is a great way to work with like-minded people.

Describe on average day…

“Every day is different, which is what I love about it. The morning always starts with a coffee and checking emails. This is followed by a design workshop or team meeting on the progress of our many projects. Slotted in there are a few meetings with suppliers which is always a great opportunity to extend your knowledge of products.

How did Sydney Design School help you to get started in the industry?

“Sydney Design School gave me a great start in the industry. SDS builds the base of your knowledge, the only way you can learn the rest is to go out into the design world and experience it for yourself. SDS brings together like-minded professionals and students to create a beautiful creative community to thrive in.”
