Whether you’re studying on campus, in our virtual studio or self-paced online, you’ll have full access to our eCampus, packed with detailed resources and demonstration videos.

As you progress through the course, you’ll apply your new knowledge and skills to practical activities that build towards your final assessment.

You’ll then submit your work and receive detailed feedback from your Educator, so you get the best possible result from your course.

On campus and virtual studio

Self-paced online

Our online courses are self-directed but if you have questions, you can reach our Educators by email during Sydney studio hours, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm AEST, with a 48-hour response time.

You can also book a personalised 20-minute online session with an Educator.

Is the course accredited?

On completion of this course, you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment from Sydney Design School (RTO 91446) detailing the competency you have achieved.

  • MSFID6020 Develop commercial interior design project documentation

This vocational short course is written and developed by industry professionals to ensure our students study the most relevant and current content.

You can credit these competencies towards the Advanced Diploma of Interior Design.

What tools will I need?

You’ll need a powerful laptop or desktop computer with a dedicated graphics card, Microsoft Office, a three button scroll wheel mouse, and a 2 to 4TB external hard drive.

Revit is delivered on PC. If you use a Mac, you’ll need to purchase and install Windows to run Revit, and we’re not able to provide Mac installation or technical support. You’ll get a free student subscription to Revit to complete the course.

Who is this course for?

No BIM previous experience is needed; however a basic understanding of construction is required.

This is a practical, fast paced course designed for Designers and Architects and those working in the construction industry, along with architecture and interior design students.

When can I start?

There are no set intakes for Self-paced online, you can start anytime and study at your own pace.

Our on campus and evening virtual studio runs to set intakes.
