What to expect at Open Day
Across a series of hands-on activations, visitors move through live colour demonstrations, material explorations and computer generated model making. You’ll see the impressive work of our students and how we teach design thinking in practice.
You’ll also hear directly from industry professionals and alumni who share honest insights about building a career in interiors. Our panel conversations are open, insightful and grounded in experience.
At the heart of the day, Amanda Grace, Founder and Director of SDS, presents our approach to interior design education as Australia’s leading interior design school. She speaks about what sets our practical, studio based learning apart, how we prepare students for the realities of industry, and the course pathways available, from EVET through to the Advanced Diploma.
